In 1993 Mike Chester felt God calling him to Kenya. He was very moved by the plight of the children living on the streets. While there he met Larry and Linda Rupp who had a vision of building a home and caring for the street orphans. Mike was the answer to their prayers as he had the experience required for the project. In 1995 work commenced and in 1997 the home was officially opened by the the then vice-president of Kenya, with seventeen children being cared for by Christian Kenyan Staff. |
